Evenflo On My Way-- stopped making them when?

When did Evenflo stop making the On My Way? Was it sometime around 1999-2000? I know they made the On May Way, then the On My Way Position Right, then the Cozy Carry and Port About, then the Embrace, with the Discovery being manufactured all along, I think.

I know several kids who were born around 1998-1999 who had the On My Way, but I didn't think Evenflo made it for very long after that. Does anyone remember?

The reason I ask is that I was on ebay last night and decided to see what kind of NEW seats they had and what kind of horrors I could find as well. Interestingly, there were a ton of Evenflo On My Way infant seats. Here are a couple of the ones they had last night:

What is that website that has all the seats manufactured? I can't remember it!! :)

That first link lists the seat as New. That seat is definitely not new! It has twisted straps and looks quite dirty.

Your timeframe sounds right to me. Most On My Ways would have expired or will expire roughly within the next year. I had an On My Way Position Right 5-point made in either 2000 or early 2001 for my oldest DD. I can't check on the exact DOM because I gladly destroyed it and tossed the pieces in the garbage last year, lol. Talk about twisty straps!

The Cozy Carry came out later in 2001 to replace the On My Way Position Right. I had one of the Cozy Carry seats too and hated it almost as much as the On My Way. At least the Cozy Carry was taller, had adjustable shoulder harness slots and higher height and weight limits, but it had no front harness adjuster and the base was a big PITB to install.

HTH.

Geez!

A 10-year-old seat... that's just fantastic.

To make it even worse, this is a 10-year-old seat that had ONE set of harness slots AND was difficult to use. GREAT! :(
