It's liked for its narrowness and very much like the more recent FPSV booster, and the SRC is taller than the FPSV booster in the highback mode's tallest position.

See the pic in my profile...it's deliciously narrow and tall. It was also the first real 2 piece booster...it came out back in the day when Gerry highbacks were basically all there was (like a combo seat like a cargo or chase but with no harness).

I really love our SRC. It works the best in the middle of my Focus, not only because it's narrow, but because of the angle of the shoulderbelt guides. With the Parkway, the shoulderbelt constantly falls out of the guide. I always waffle between keeping dd in the center or having her sit outboard. I want her in the center, but the PW is way too tippy there, plus the shoulderbelt guide issue, and the Indy Plus has rigid LATCH so I can only use it outboard (if I want to use LATCH). The SRC positions the belts so well, adjusts just as tall as the PW and IP, doesn't tip much, but it has no real wings to speak of, so because of that, I only use it when we need to fit three-across (when Andie's kids are with us). If they would bring back the overall design of the SRC with deeper wings (only head and upper torso, though-not right down to the armrests, or it would be harder to buckle), that would be perfect.

Yeah, it used to come in Cowmoo, but mostly it was in denim and some light blue fabrics...the Pretty Paisley was kind of a fluke, there were only a few (maybe they had fabric left over from the bodyguard?). They actually DC'd it, then it came back after we whimpered and moaned...the back is hard to adjust, so I guess that's why it was only out as the easy to adjust Fisher Price Booster...but that adjuster made it soooo much shorter
