Percentages of car crashes on each side

Help! I remember someone giving me a picture or something of the sort here with the percentages of car crashes on each side of a vehicle. Does anyone here have that?

Along with that I was always told the safest side for the infant is the passenger side based on number of crashes on that side, is that true? Now this is if you have to put one child on each side (no one in the middle).

I don't think any research has shown the % on the sides to be much different so one is not safer. My kids have always had thier own side (till we got a van, and now AJ is more in the middle). Frontal crashes are the higest so any position is safe for taht as long as the seat is properly installed.

Hmmm, ok. I know I got something from someone here that had a picture of a car and the % likelihood of crashes on each side of the car.

Yes! Thank you. Do you have a reference for that in case the person I'm sending it questions it's validity?

It's within this site somewhere -- I just knew specifically where a second before I started typing & now it's flown right outta my noggin :confused: :rolleyes: Anyway, it's important to remember also that the slight 2% difference between driver vs. passenger side fluctuates yearly so in general they are equally safe :eek:
