I am not sure if I should be posting this question in the Car Seat Chat or the Community Member Forum. I have a bit of a problem, and I know that someone on this board could probably answer my question.
In the past we have used a single stroller to transport our carseats through the airport. Here's a picture that I have posted before:
DD would walk and DS would ride in a carrier (Ergo or sling). Well, we have been on a few late/early morning flights, and DD isn't always willing to walk. Sometimes it is difficult to make our connections due to the fact that we have to tow a toddler along who isn't willing to hurry like we are! We do have a luggage cart, but it is so much easier and quicker to nest the Marathons together on top of a stroller. For our upcoming trip, I am considering buying a double stroller. We would likely use it on vacation when we are walking long distances, but primarily for the airport and transporting sleepy kids.
I have done a fair bit of research, and it looks like the Maclaren Twin Triumph is our best option. I would have to order one online, since we don't plan on going to any large cities in the next month. The last time I was at a baby boutique, I tried the Marathon in the stroller (single Triumph) to see if it would easily transport the carseats. The Marathons fit quite nicely. Now (finally) if you are still reading, here is my question: Could someone please try a Marathon is one side of the stroller and see if it leaves room for a child to sit in the other side? Does that make sense? Ideally we would like to transport the carseats on one side of the Twin Triumph, and DD or DS in the other side. Another option would be to take the Radian and MA or UltraCargo.
Thank you so much for taking the time to check the fit for me...
