Is there more then one true fit car seat? I saw this on a site "The First Years Deluxe True Fit Convertible Car Seat - Pacific Ocean " and " The First Years Premiere True Fit Convertible Car Seat - Blue Aurora "

Is this just marketing?

According to this press release, there will be three versions/trim levels.

there's the True Fit available now.
deluxe adds a two position recline.
signature series (perhaps now called Premiere?) has the ARB.

Dang, it'd be perfect if the put the Deluxe and the Premiere together. It'd be nice to have the 2 recline positions but also have the ARB..

The cranberry colour is interesting.

I sure hope the Premiere ends up coming to Canada too! The anti-rebound base should resolve my one major issue with this seat - the lack of access to the harness adjuster when RF.

RE: the two position recline - does anyone know if the 2nd position would place the child more upright or less upright than the current True Fit when FF?

I don't like this comment from their press release though - "Once baby is large enough for a forward-facing seat, there is no need to purchase a new one, just re-attach the headrest and turn it around". I.e. once baby is 22 lb, turn them around.

I've heard that when the True Fit car seats are RF it is a bit difficult to get to the harness adjuster. How does the anti-rebound base solve that problem? Also, what exactly is an anti-rebound base?
