Unless 2009 has them, than none do. At least up through 2008 (my sienna) the driver's side 3rd row has no tether anchor.

I have had both the 2003 & 2006 Sienna's, and the 8 passenger (2003) had three anchors & tethers in the middle row, two anchors & tethers in the third row. The 7 passenger (2006) has two anchors & tethers in the middle row, and two anchors & tethers in the third row.

I have an '09 Sienna XLE Limited. I don't think there is a tether on the driver's side, 3rd row seat. I will check the next time I am outside, but I am almost positive it's not there.

Someone said they rented one with all the tether anchors and it was pretty new. I wonder if it is a certain model? Or they were mistaken?

Is the back row centre still centered between the driver's side outboard and centre seating position, however? Or is it dedicated to the centre seat? Is it still lined up with the LATCH anchors in that back row?

Only allowing use of a TA centre and outboard in that back row really eliminates a lot of side-by-side seating options... I had a '05 Sienna before getting my Ody, and the TA was centered between outboard/centre and aligned with the mis-aligned LATCH anchors.. It was about 20 degrees off-side for both seating positions.

Curious if '09 is the same.

Hmm...maybe they were mistaken? There are some cargo hooks on the vehicle frame that look like they might be a TA on the driver's side, but it's NOT a TA. Infact, I think I remember someone posting recently about this....and it was the cargo hook they were thinking was a TA.
