Question CARES harness for flying WWYD tall 4 year old

We will be traveling by air with our daughter who is 44lbs and just over 42" tall. 4.5 years old. I emailed the makers of the cares harness and they said it is OK to use over the height limit as it is only by 2" Did anyone ever use the cares harness on a bigger child (do they fit OK??) or should I just use the seat belt on the airplane. She is old enough to sit still when told. A booster will be waiting for us upon arrival. thank you.

I haven't used a CARES harness, but I can't see where the height would make much of a difference on it. Since you can adjust how high you install the harness on the plane seat, seated height shouldn't matter for you.

The only problem I see for your dd using the harness is that the weight limit is 44 lbs., so she's right there. We flew with my dd last spring and she was around 41-42 lbs. and she fit well in the plane's seat belt.
