I played with a Compass Tru-Fit today

OMG, I did not think I could love a seat more than my Marathon, but I do! It adjusts sooo easily and there is so much room in it and my little guy looked so comfortable with all the padding.

There is absolutely no way I can convince my partner we need another convertible. But if I had to buy a new seat today, it would be the Tru-Fit

Really? I thought it was cute

And it was soooo plush I wanted to bury my face in it. Except, uh, people were watching.

Oh, the front of the seat is cute, for sure. It's from the side it looks awful. Without the headrest, it looks like one of those old crapy Graco convertibles.

I didn't like the padding slots when you take the insert out. :( Or the super twisty continuous harness.
I'm stealing DH's car tomorrow to go back to BRU to see how it installs in his car though. So I must not dislike those things too much. I really like that I think it will be pretty Daddy and Grandma friendly as the seat that has no permanent home. It will be the seat that travels from car to car no matter which kiddo they take. No rethreading the harness to change it for the 2 yo or the infant (or just not changing it ). Woo hoo!

Of all the HWH seats (not incluing the Regent which is what we have) the Trufit is the one she fits in the best.
Have to share this pic, again :)
This was about 6-7 months ago just before her 5th bday.

:happy-wavehello: I :love::love: ours...so much that we own 4 of them:eek: I recently bought an MA (not because a kids needed it, but because I wanted it:p), and I have to say, I much prefer the TF pretty much across the board (except that the harness adjuster is much easier to acess on the MA when RF). It's the seat I send ppl to look at before all others, LOL as long as it's appropriate!)

Me too...it is definitely my top choice for a hwh convertible that will get most kids to booster age in a nicely priced package. I definitel like it more than the EFTA, although i am torn about the new AOE though...it really is a Suh-Weet seat...with the highest slots usable and 50 pound limit....*shudders in delight*... Add the radian in to the mix, and I don't have any reason to ever "recommend" a MA, although of course I include it as a possible choice if the situation warrants it....but i see no reason at all to pay a bunch more for it with all the new good choices....
