Carseat pic - Saw this and had to post!

Since I am a self-proclaimed tabloid junkie, I always get excited when I come across a picture of a carseat used by a celebrity's child. However, I'm not quite sure if Britney Spears husband Kevin Federline counts as a celebrity, but here is a pic of him carrying a carseat for one of his kids (Britney's stepkids). The seat (I think it's an Eddie Bauer?) looks pretty ratty, you would think with access to all that money, he would buy something a little more high-end, like a Britax. Even Britney put her son Sean Preston in a Roundabout after the whole "driving with child on lap" snafu!

It looks vaguely new. It's got LATCH and the cover looks clean. But it has those atrocious shoulder strap guides that look like they would never let the belt retract, so I don't know, I know the newer ones have bigger guides so the seatbelt can go back through.

I agree, though, with all of their money why aren't they getting Recaros or more Britaxes or whatever?

Course, when you said ratty and I opened the picture all I could see at first was him, and I thought the description fit him pretty well too. Ick.
