Boulevard or Boulevard CS?

I had a BLVD previously but it was installed reclined and the adjustment knobs interfered with my front seats.

Now she would be in the upright position, but still RF. So I am going to probably re-purchase this seat.

Is the click/ratchet feature the only upgrade on the CS or are there additional features? I had a 6/2007 Blvd. before. Have they changed anything since then?

I do wonder who designs some of these fabrics though. They are a challenge to my personal growth.

When installing a Britax RF, they MUST be in the reclined (RF) mode. You can install it more upright using other techniques, however.

As far as I know, the only big difference is the click, and I have heard that those are not all they are cracked up to be. Personally, I would stick with the regular Boulevard.

I'm sorry I miscommunicated.

Previously, I had used the tether to further adjust the recline since she was just 12 weeks old. My Diplomat and RA's are locked fully in recline per the instruction manual.

I'd agree with that. There have been many people who have tried the seat and had it click well before it was tight. In fact, Britax's instructional video shows this happening, and apparently it's normal. Once it clicks, you need to ratchet it, just like you do with the seat now. On the other hand, some people (including me) have been able to get the harness way too tight and it never clicks.

I'd save a few bucks and go for the regular Boulevard...except that certain prints are only available in CS, if that's important to you (hello, cow-print...)

FYI, Britax no longer allows you to use the tether to adjust the recline--it can break the recline mechanism. However you can often get a seat MORE reclined by putting weight where the baby's bottom goes while tightening the seatbelt. You can also make it more upright by putting weight where the baby's feet go (front of the seat) while tightening, and by pulling the seat away from the seat bight a bit.
