Nautilus Elite--due out...

This is my first post, so I'm sorry if this info is already out there! I e-mailed Graco CS after hearing about the "Elite." Here is the response I got:

Jennifer,
Thank you for contacting Consumer Services. We are coming out with an
Elite model of the Nautilus 3-in-1 car seat. The new Elite Nautilus
seats will be available late February or March. If you need further
assistance, please contact us again.

Oh yay! I don't need one, and won't for a while yet, but of course it's still exciting to hear and I'd like to go check it out.

Someone please refresh my memory, what is different with the Elite model? I read it somewhere before but I can't remember now. Thanks!

The Elite model has gracopedic foam and the head wings adjust laterally(widen and narrow) as well as vertically.

I believe it's also supposed to have a built in lock off!

what is gracopedic?

Gracopedic foam is like memory foam under the cover. Some versions of the Graco CarGo and SafeSeat1 have it. The Gracopedic foam also tends to rob a bit of the top harness slot height because it boosts the kiddos up a tad higher in the carseat.

How much is it going to go for??? I am all about comfy!!! ANd since this would be for my short torso kid,I am not worried about it robbing a lil' torso room.

I hadn't heard the lock-off rumor! And to the mom who's daughter only has a left hand...I think you should call Graco and see what they suggest. And it's not like all kids are right handed either. So I'm sure the other lefty children would like a cup holder on the left.
