If you are just placing them next to your child's head then I can see no reason they would be any more dangerous than a rolled washcloth. I know of a product a few years ago that was similar to this, but was supposed to be pinned to be pinned to the harness straps. That would not be okay.

I might just be paranoid, but I wouldn't use them. I'd have to see them in person, but if they're rather dense, I'd pass. I worry that a baby's head wouldn't move enough in a crash (like ride-down time), and might somehow cause neck issues. With a rolled receiving blanket, it's very soft and would compress easily. With built-in head supports, there's usually a little room on the side of the baby's head. These look like they'd keep the head from moving.

Take what I'm saying with a grain of salt because I don't actually have any facts to support this, it just doesn't really feel right/safe to me.

i used to have those. they are very soft and squishy.. but didnt do anything to keep DS (2.5 years at the time) from getting head flop. IMO, they dont work. just my :twocents:
