Should I sell my Radian?

I'm thinking about selling my Radian 65. I can't get a good ff install in *any* of the three cars it would be used in. I can only get a good rf install in two cars.
We have three Marathons, one is expiring in March 2009 and will need to be replaced.
Ideally, we would have one seat in each car that stays in at all times, and one that moves with the other child at least until finances aren't so iffy.
If I sell the R65, I will have one Marathon for each car until the one expires in March. I have a borrowed bucket to use for baby also. Then in March, I would use the money from the R65 to buy the new TrueFit.
We were planning on buying another Marathon (or Frontier) to replace the expiring one anyway, but the TF is $200 (I think I saw that the ARF TF was going to be $230?), as opposed to the $280 for either Britax seat. If I buy two TFs instead of two MA's, that's a $100-160 savings for seats that will work in ALL three cars!

If you can't get an acceptable install of the Radian, then it really wouldn't be worth it to keep it.

Have you tried a TF in the cars to see if it will fit? Hopefully that won't be an issue. If you have a Babies R Us near you that carries the TF, they usually will let you try seats in your car. I would keep an eye on Learning Curve's website for sales on the TF. I remember them having a 50% promo several months back, so maybe if they offer that again, you could really score a great deal!

I did try the TF in my car, which would be the primary car.
I hate driving DH's car, so I have to convince him to come to BRU with me in his car. He doesn't see why I'm worrying about it now since baby isn't here and the seat isn't expired yet.
My mom works 6 days a week so it's hard to get the time to take her car to BRU.
I'm holding out for the ARF one anyway and wonder if the install will be any different than the current TF. Might as well wait until I can play with the actual model I'd be buying, right?
