Vivo vs. Young Style

What are the significant differences between these two seats and why did recaro make two different seats that are so similar? I'm guessing the Young Style is the booster mode of the Young Sport, right? I am excited to see that the Young Style comes in all black.

Does anyone have one, if so does it adjust as high as the Vivo?

The Young Style came out at the same time as the Young Sport, and was oddly not as good a booster as the Young Sport in Booster mode (according to the kids I know who owned both, at least...). The Vivo (and the Lite...that only refers to the cover options) is a touch bigger (taller, at least) than the Young Style and replaced it.

Piper was five years one month and about 33 pounds in these photos. But the black one is the Vivo LIght, and the white and black one is the Young Style. You can see how different they are. For Piper I would have picked the Young Style hands down. She's so tiny the Vivo's lap belt would have been on her thighs. The Young Style would have fit her much better. And I was sorely tempted. The owner of the shop said the Young Style was discontinued, he even offered me a good price on it. There were also a mama cat and a couple of kittens who had taken up home in his bushes that he tried to give me for free. It was a VERY tempting trip and I'm proud that I came home with no extra cats or carseats, both of which I have too many of.
