Recaro Vivo vs Vivo Lite

Is fabric the only difference? What is each made of and what are the pros and cons of each?

Right now, BabyCatalog has the Vivo Lite for $69. My dd (8)'s TB doesn't expire until July. Is this such a great deal that I should buy it now?

The lite is mesh. The other is fuzzy. I will go dig up a pic of the regular.

I like it, really. You know how many boosters I have for that kid? Ok, so he just outgrew the Regent a few weeks ago. I have 3 TB, Recaro Start, Vivo, clek, and frontier (booster) for him. I am looking for an 86Y and just committed to buying a Jane Indy.

I'm bumping cause I really want to know if you think I'll see sales like this in June/July when my TB expires.
What do y'all think? Many of you shop more frequently than I do for carseats.

I thought I'd heard that recaro hasn't manufactured car seats for a while and was waiting for the supply to deplete before manufacturing more. Not sure if that goes for the vivo. That might be why the seat is on sale right now. Maybe you better check with recaro on that though. I have the vivo regular and like it very much. I don't know how the mesh is on this seat at all. We have not had any issues with the nautilus mesh. Now, if I were buying the seat on a budget, I would likely get the light just because I'm not all that worried about the cover. I love the seat!
