Seat Worries for Tomorrow

So, I am picking S up from skating lessons tomorrow. Her parents need me to, so this isn't just an optional ride to do something fun. Last time I had her was almost 3 months ago and she was JUST fitting in the top position in the TB. I am nervous that she will have outgrown it.

There is a post here that explained the issue before I left. I wasn't planning on driving her this vacation. Her mom said she is almost 4'10" now :)eek: ) so I am hoping she grew that in leg. However, if not, do you think she will pass the 5-step test better now (pics in post of 3 mos ago)? Should be go backless in the front seat? I have a CarGo. If her ears are below the top, can I use that without the belt positioners if it fits her right?

I picked up a Compass B500 (trusted friend) and despite it measuring shorter in the car it measures the same so I am hoping she sits differently in it.

I am worrying about this. Which do you think is the safest for her? I wish I could pick up a seat w/ higher guides but I do not have the money to do so for this one trip. :(
