This was just sitting along the curb with someones trash the other day. 9-03 DOM. Plenty clean enough for someone to pickup and start using!

It looks a lots more padded than the scenera. Was the touriva more padded or is that custom padding? Or is the cover just fluffed up?

The touriva isn't more padded than the Scenera. THe way the cover is shaped just makes it look that way. Just like the Scenera, no eps foam, no nada.

Oooh, check for Notches of Death. Pull back the cover by where the kid's head would be and look for the little recessed place where they would attach an overhead shield. Those little notches were actually blamed for like two deaths.

Just for a goof - check the harness adjuster to see if it slips. The last Touriva that I checked (which looked exactly like that one) was defective. It was a Walmart model (you can tell because the last 3 letters on the model # are WAL) and when I pulled on the harness to make sure it stayed locked - it pulled right out. I called Dorel and they sent me a shipping label so I could return the seat to them.

That particular Touriva had a DOM of 1/03/05. It didn't have the notch in the shell but it did have the old puzzle buckle and the PITA double loop tether strap.

Someone would use this seat? It has what a few months left? What if someone got into an accident with it...or a cat peed in it

I had the same issue. Don't remember the DOM though.

It has extra foam rubber toward the top around the slots....

Yes, it has the notches of death...

The adjuster works fine, no slipping...
