Finally played with the frontier......

and I'm no closer to deciding. I definitely like the look of the frontier over the nautilus, it is just SOOO ugly. The straps are quite a bit thinner on the frontier which is crazy since it is $120 more! It seems like the frontier would be easier for a child to climb into by themselves since the nautilus has the big armrests. I also had trouble with the cover on the nautilus staying on. I didn't have Benjamin with me but tried Elizabeth in both and I can already tell that the sliding harness tongues on the frontier would drive me batty.

I don't think right now Benjamin would be able to buckle himself in either one. He has it in his head that he can't buckle in MA without loosening the straps and I don't think he would be able to loosen the straps by himself on either one.

I'm going to keep him in the marathon until he gets too tall and see if something else comes out.

I wish BRU was closer I really want to go and try all the kids in both.

I hate my Frontier :( Just to put in my :twocents:. Installing is a nightmare, adjusting the straps is a nightmare, everything just sucks. I'd save the $120 and just get the user-friendly Nautilus... I can't wait until I have one again!

I hated my frontier as well!!!! Pain in my rear to install and pretty cheapy cover/straps for almost 300.00 seat!!!!!

I think I am going with a nautilus!!!! for 122ish on amazon

Okay, I tried Benjamin in the nautilus today and had to move the straps up to do so, boy roller thing on the back is really weird! I hadn't noticed that before!

Anyway I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong because the straps were VERY short. The straps were in the third slot and with the straps tight the adjuster strap on the front had maybe 4 inches left.

He is 5 years 3 months old, 45 inches tall and 44 lbs and I'm trying to figure out how an bigger child would fit in it. I know they do I've seen pictures so I'm thinking I must have done something wrong.

I'm afraid I didn't have time to sit and read the manual the kids were totally not in the mood to go shopping or try out car seats! ;)

Nevermind, I found some answers in this post about the roller things.
