DH is teaching an MRT class at our local firehouse (where he is also a volunteer). Ds and I stopped by last night to visit 'the guys' as ds puts it. One of the Fire Commissioners is in dh's class and said, jokingly, to me 'Hey, my daughter is really mad at you!'. Huh? I don't know his daughter. He went on to explain that he was telling my dh several weeks ago about the 'great' seats his daughter picked up for the grandkids at a tag sale.
And my dh told him that's not a great idea and that car seats expire. Woohoo dh!
I seriously feel like everything I say about car seats goes in one ear and out the other. Apparently not. It sunk in AND he shared the info!
So his firehouse buddy went home, checked the seats and sure enough, expired. And he destroyed them (as my dh told him to) and got his daughter new seats. (The 'mad' part apparently was when she found out her dad destroyed the seats, but he DID replace them.) :thumbsup:
