We are leaving soon for Disney. My 2 1/2 year old is 38 inches and 34 lbs. She is getting too big for her current seats...(we have two-one for DH and one for me). She will still fit in them for a short while but they are getting uncomfortable. Having said that, we were going to take a seat on the plane (not necessarily for the plane but the rental car we will be getting later in the trip). I looked at walmart last night and wanted to get this seat b/c it seems like a better fit for her tall frame, will be able to be used for a long time, and comes with a free carrying bag. Could someone look at this and tell me if it is okay for her to use? Thanks so much!

The seat only harnesses to 40 lbs. So she will only have 6 lbs to go in it, and after that it turns into a not so great high back booster. She will not be ready for a booster seat when she is 40 lbs.. so It's not worth it.

Not sure what your price range is but the Graco Nautilus is a great seat that will last her a long time. I recommend that seat to anyone! It runs about $130-$150. It harnesses to 65 lbs then it coverts to a nice high back booster and a no back booster.

That seat has pretty short top slots. I'd be afraid she'd outgrow it pretty quickly :twocents:

Also, it's better for her to be in the car seat on the plane anyway. What does she ride in right now?
