Question Can someone please help me find the chart?

Isn't there a site or a chart out there somewhere that shows which cars the Britax Marathon will fit RF best into or how it fits? We're going to out looking for a older used car and don't want to spend all day putting DD's carseat into cars that it won't even fit into. KWIM? Any cars to stay away from would be great too. FWIW - older = late 90s possibly early 2000s. We can only spend $2,000.

Compatibility issues are rare with the Marathon, especially when the child is old enough to sit upright. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I know it's a pain, but really it's best to try the seat in the car yourself. Compatibility issues are rare with a Marathon, so I wouldn't bother to try it unless you've already decided you've found the car you want.

ITA with the previous posters because the Marathon is fairly installation friendly in most cars. The website you were asking about is at (Carseat Data website closed - link broken), which has a compatibility database of voluntarily submitted entries from parents/caregivers and CPSTs of seats they have installed (either successfully or not so successfully) in vehicles. It's by no means a comprehensive database of every possible carseat and vehicle combination, though, and your best bet to be sure of compatibility would be to do a test installation before buying the car. I've installed my MA in a variety of older vehicles. I've never had an incompatibility.
