used Canadian Olli - how much is it worth??

I think it's got about 4 years of life left, maybe a little more. It's in ok shape, hasn't been used much, though my nephew has picked some of the foam out of the armrests. Here's the story...

My SIL bought A an Olli when he wasn't even 2 yet. The store owner told her he was big enough to use it (not even 30 lbs). FIL used it in his truck for A for a while (after I bugged him about not using a seat at all) until we bought a Radian for him to use until our next baby would be out of the infant seat (probably around next Christmas). A also has an Apex (also from us) which he uses in MIL's car.

So I was thinking of asking if they want to sell the Olli, seeing as by the time he's big enough for it, it will be expired. Then they could save the money till he needs a booster, which would be when we need our Radian back, and then get him a high-back Turbo. He could use the Turbo in the truck, and continue using the Apex (in harness mode) in the car.

Or... they could sell the Olli, and once we need the Radian back (if he's 40 lbs), we could turn the Apex into a booster (if it fits him properly), and they could just switch it back and forth between vehicles. He really needs a high-back booster, cause FIL doesn't care if he puts the shoulder belt behind him. In fact, I found out last night that FIL never wears his seatbelt unless A is with him (A will give him a "ticket" otherwise:D). With a backless booster the shoulder belt won't fit him right, and so he'll put it behind his back right away.

I'm kinda liking the second option, cause I know it would be easier for them to use a booster than a harnessed seat. FIL never tightens the harness enough, and MIL tries, but can't quite get it tight enough. They also both aren't the greatest at installing seats (not terrible, but usually about an inch, maybe more, of wiggle room).

So... how much do you think the Olli would be worth? And what do you think of my ideas? Any better ideas??
