Used Maclaren help

ADS
I know I could get a new one for not much more, hence why I'm not willing to pay that much, but I also cannot afford a new one. I was thinking $40 might be a fair, deviding $180 into 5 years makes it $36 a year, so I'm thinking $40 is very fair. But is the Maclaren good enough to buy 5 years old?

I don't know $40 might be too little but $180 is way high! I think I would be willing to pay $70 or $80 for it. But I wouldn't get it because it won't work for me since the seats only go to 40 lbs and Benjamin is past that. I ruined a maclaren by using it over the weight limit.

Most Macs have a 55lb weight limit, not sure about the doubles though.

If that Mac is made in the UK, I'd get that over a new one (assuming it is in good shape). The UK ones rock!

Ah yes, but keep in mind this is a UK build. Two totally different strollers, imo. My biggest mistake was ever selling my UK build Maclaren. Dh is still mad at me :crying:

I would pay that for it. :duck:

Mel, any idea on the weight limit for that Mac?

TX

The other Mel, but the weight limit on the seats on that one are 40lb ea ...and I totally agree with the other Mel, UK Mac's are a different breed.

I would gladly pay $100+ for that one as it's a UK one, and it looks in AWESOME shape...the only thing with the Daytripper is that it uses recline rods for the seats to recline and I hated messing with those. It's also super-duper lightweight compared to anything you can buy now of decent quality.

I have a RallyTwin & a Concorde Duo and I pick my Concorde Duo over the RallyTwin 99% of the time.

I think it's over priced as well. You can tell it's an old model no doubt. It's 55lb each seat. I have a Mac in my BRU store brand new the Triumph double for 185.00. So I would think 50.00 would be a good deal. Again I think it looks OLD.
