Thank you so much to everyone who replied to me over the last several weeks/threads I started with advice about carseats for our twins. I decided to buy 2 TF (cappuccino) and I very happy with the purchase. One of our local fire departments did the install. It was the first time they had ever installed one and they said it was one of the easiest car seats for them to install!
I only have 1 "real" issue - DS seems to be really squished in the "baby jewels" area. The seat buckle position (3-position) is extremely hard to shift.
Any ideas or advice on that? DS is 7months, ~21+lbs and 28.25" inches.
I love the plush material and padding. DS seems to be very comfortable.
We had not yet installed DDs.
We are also relocating (Houston here we come!) and I'm a little concerned about flying with it.
I am guessing that based on DS's growth rate up to this point that he will be 22lbs when we fly at the end of November and we probably can't "fudge" fitting him legally into his infant car seat.
We're flying Southwest and their website states:
The TF is 19.5" wide.
Would you chance it & fly with the TF anyway or "fudge" it and fly with the snugride?
We cannot afford to buy yet another carseat solely to travel with so I really do not know what to do.
Any experiences or advice would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

Be sure to check the width of your CRD. Although the width of aircraft seats varies, a safety seat wider than 16 inches is unlikely to fit, even if the armrests of the aircraft seats are moved out of the way. An ill-fitting safety seat will not provide adequate protection for your child.
