can you put a husky cover on a regent?

i think i read somewhere that the only difference is that you need to put slits in the back so the tether straps can go through. other than that does it fit the seat? is this a no no? is it one of the parental decisions or not recommended?

i'm wanting a boyish cover as we are passing down seats and pink just isn't his style. was wondering as i looked at ebay and craigslist. if i found an expired husky seat for cheap i thought about taking the cover and destroying the seat. one less expired car seat and cover for me. but am not sure if i should.

Not saying what I would do, but you *could* make a large buttonhole for the slit -- you don't necessarily need a serger.... You could just use a wider stitch length and it would do the same thing....
