At the minimum for the regent, but sure doesn't fit well

My baby just hit 22#s - if my scale is correct. She climbed in her brother's seat when I was cleaning out the van and big sister buckled her in. I thought it was cute so I snapped a pic. Then I realized that she is at the minimum to use this seat. She looks so dwarfed in it. Her shoulders are even with the bottom slots. She is 20.5 months, 31.5", 22#s. She is still rearfacing in her marathon.

Even at the minimum, the seat fits her scarily well.

My 1 year fits beautifully in my 4 year old's Graco Nautilus.

I personally think FF only seats should be required by law to have a 2 year/30 pound minimum on them.

There's a shot of William in a Super Elite at about that age/size here.

And yes, it's scary that such a small one fits so well in such a huge seat (he was still in his RA at the time, and could've easily RF'd).

She does fit it well but man she looks tiny!!

Here was my DD at 16 months and 18 pounds in her sister's Regent

Crazy how it could work for such a peanut. I didn't particularly like how it fit her - she seemed lost rather than protected. I wish it had the sticker about how it is for big kids like the husky had.

i just had to respond and say what a little cutie pie she is even if she is way too small for that seat!!! :D

I put my DS in his sisters Regent for a quick ride one day to pick up his seat which had been moved to another car....he is about 29 pounds, 2 1/2 and still RF in his MA....he was holding onto the sides of the Regent like he needed to brace himself...it was kinda freaky as his sister is long legged and short torsoed so the harness was at the right height...but I didn't like how he was "engulfed" by the seat...I feel much better about the fit in the MA, and of course it was so weird to see him FF...not ready for that yet!

It is the gymbo stuff I had bought for dd1:love: I love the color as well. I'll let you know when she outgrows them.

And I also love having matching marathon covers. I'm trying to decide what to do with my older dd, though. She is starting to look squished in the shoulders. I actually bought her a TF and a regent this week. (see what happens when dh leaves on a hunting trip for a week:whistle:) So when I get them all, I'll post pics and see what everyone thinks.
