Another TF vs. MA with RF Room PIC HEAVY!!

I just have to say that I LOVE, LOVE how much room DS4 has in the TF over his MA!!!! He seems to like it alot better also.;) DS4 stats are....
25 mths old, 29lbs and 36 in. tall. Good thing he had a docs appointment today.:p

First off he has ALOT more room depth and width wise in the TF over his MA. His legs aren't as squashed and he can just about bend them straight out. Something he couldn't do in the MA.;)

Overall the TF was easier to install beside DS5's DC than I expected. I was worried it would be too wide to fit.:D

Well, here are the pics of him in the MA vs. the TF.....

*drools* I want a TF!!! NOW!!!

Sunny I hope you get a TF soon to play with.:D I didn't know if I would like it or not and I wasn't sure if it would install good beside the DC, but I totally would get another one down the road for DS5!

Wow! All that RF leg room is impressive! I almost wish I had one for DS - he has no leg room in his MA when it's installed in the van!

so i guess you got to get your TF after all! :D it looks like a really great fit for him. i would soooo totally get one for DS if it had a rear tether. that's the only thing keeping me from getting one.

Yeah, I was worried that since it didn't tether RF that I wasn't going to like it. I think Britax and SKJP has us spoiled with that added feature.:D It actually is rock solid and has little to no movement when I push the back of the seat forward. Very surprising to me and I am so pleased at how the TF fits my suv and DS along with the solid install!:)

Where this seat is bigger then your other car seat, did you have to adjust the drive seat at all. Like move it forward more or use less of a recline on the driver seat?

Oh, very cool. Lucky you! I keep looking at them at Target, but I relly don't need one. I had Bekah yesterday, and was like, hmmm, which car seat to use... so bad.

From my experience, the True Fit installs in the same space as the Marathon (front to back) with greater recline. In our vehicle I got about 2° more than the Marathon, in my parents vehicle I got 5° more. Which was good, as DD's head would flop forward in the Marathon at 30° (the angle it was at in my parents' vehicle).

Same here. Nope, I didn't have to move the seat at all when I took his MA out. In fact I believe his MA may have been more reclined since it was butting against the back of my seat and the TF doesn't quite touch.:) We rode off today and fell asleep with no head slump what so ever!:D

I just have to say that I am VERY partial to Britax  but I would have to give the TF :2thumbsup:! I haven't tried it with a seatbelt install, but the LATCH was a breeze.:)

I dont need another car seat for 2more years, when the britax wizard expires, but the ture fit is sooo tempting. I had so much fun playing with it about 1mo ago. My aunt and uncle got one for there grandson and love it. It is rock solid in RF mode.

I'm also another fan of the extra room rf'ing in the TF. :D

And to those worried about a rf'ing tether, I honestly wouldn't be. Though you could always wait for the new year and the TF with the anti-rebound bar. I'd take that over a RF tether in a heartbeat.

I think that is what I am going to do.;) I really think I would like another one for DS5, but he is comfy in the DC and MA right now. Plus I am curious to see some reviews on the new TF when it debuts.:)

When is the New TF supposed to hit retailers??

This looks awesome! I blew my fun money on a new stroller, so I can't get the True Fit (yet). But I really want to try it out.

When I spoke to Learning Curve, they said production on the model with the ARB starts in January and might get to retailers that same month. :)

I wonder how long it will take to get to Canada....argh, DH will kill me if it shows up before DD needs to turn FF and I say "let's replace the 2 TF's that are less than a year old and get 2 NEW ones with ARB"! I know that you ladies can relate! :D
