I actually took the time yesterday to put a Bundle Me into an infant seat yesterday (I work at BRU) to show a customer.
A few observations :
So, while I think the Bundle Me is a wonderful concept - especailly here where we see -30C in the winter - it needs improvement.
Sadly, it sells. And sells well. Even after pointing out to customers that the Bundle Me product info says to ensure that it doesn't interfere with the harness, and that the car seat manual states not to use any add-on products.
A few observations :
- It's not nearly as thick as I thought it would be.
- The openings for the shoulder straps were more than adequate and didn't interfere.
- You have to shove the hip straps through the same opening as the shoulder straps, pulling the up and out of place.
- There are multiple slots to put the crotch strap through, but even the closest slot pushed the crotch strap away from where the child would be.
- The material of the Bundle Me bunched up between the hip straps and the crotch strap.
