It's 7:45 am eastern.

The teasers are about picking the safest booster seats, some seats aren't as safe as others.

I just watched the segment. I would take this all with a grain of salt. It looks like they tested the fit on one dummy. They kept repeating that the seats are safe if it fits your particular child well. I think this type of testing, and press are dangerous. They make parents feel like they made a bad choice in their seats, when in reality it may fit their particular child perfect. Whereas the highest recommended seats may not fit thier child correctly. My friend has the Enenflo Big Kid Confidence booster that they showed as having a poor fit. This is probably true of very thin kids but her dd is husky and fits her beautifully.

Quick Recap:
ALL children who are too big for harnesses should be in boosters.
Use boosters to age 12 or 4'9"
Covered how boosters should fit
Info was based on data collected by IIHTS
SK rep said if the booster you are using fits the child, it's safe to continue using it
Rec taking booster out to car to test fit BEFORE buying--fit can vary car to car, child to child

It's nice to hear on national TV what we've been saying for awhile.

I was pleased with it...I haven't read the study that just came out, but it sounds like a good response. I know on my mommy board there has been a reaction to the study---minimal, so at least I've gotten to discuss it before it got out of hand.
