    Edmunds.com words it correctly

An article on choosing a car seat:
    http://www.edmunds.com/advice/womenf...7/article.html

IMO, Edmunds does a great job at being a trustworthy, reliable source. Even when it comes to car seats, they worded the American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations the way it should be worded.

According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, you should keep your child rear-facing until he is at least one year old and has reached the highest weight or height allowed by the seat's manufacturer (check the manual).
Children should not move from a full harness to a booster seat until they reach the top weight or height allowed by the car seat manufacturer

Edmonds know more then my DR! who said to booster at 40lbs regardless of height! At least some one is spreading the word. Now if we could get BBR to do it, that would be HUGE

    Re: Edmunds.com words it correctly

I clicked on the "Fight the Good Fight" link about booster use.
It was very good without being preachy. Although it's too bad they recommend the Treasured Cargo !

I sent it to someone who I had been wanting to send something to for a LONG time,
but never could find just the right thing.
(small 5 and 6 yr olds just in seat belts)
(Sorry for the poorly worded sentence! )

    Thanks!
