Recaro Labels?

We did a seat check about 2 weeks ago, and a family came in with 2 Recaros. I think they were Signos. The seat that came installed was being sent back to Recaro b/c of a defect, and we were to install a new replacement seat sent to the family by Recaro.

We were unable to find ANY label stating model number, make, or DOM, ANYWHERE on either seat. Has anyone had this happen before? The senior checker called Recaro, but I'm not sure if she's heard back or not? I just all of a sudden became concerned about the labels not being there.

It's on the bottom of the base and doesn't jump out as pertinent info unless you know what you're looking for. It has a barcode and the model number looks something like 000.00.XX00. I know on some models the DOM is somewhat coded- or at least not the standard MM/DD/YYYY or similar.

It's on the bottom of the base like crunchy said. The date set up is not a "normal" set up, but you can still figure out what it means.. I don't have mine on hand right now to see what it says though, but I know it's there

Mine was a white Sticker on the side, and fell off promptly in hot weather. I have it floating around in my van. I keep meaning to tape it on.

My Como's may have had someth ing on the bottom,. but my signo doesn't. WIthout that unstuck sticker, I have no idea the DOM/Model so I need to get taped back on.

There was a Recaro (signo I think) for my training course. I know one Instructor took it apart and searched every inch and couldn't find a thing. Maybe theirs fell off too?

The label may be COVERED UP by another white sticker- that they put on after the recall was fixed- I know really really dumb... but if you hold it in just the right light... then you can see the actual date under the white sticker on the bottom... At least that is how all 7 of ours are.
