Ambassador - CPS Technician
It wasn't straight forward, but in the end, we got them!
I had to call three dealerships, and the one we finally got to agree to do it gave us a bit of a run around.
They gave us an appointment on Wednesday, but didn't ask us when booking where we wanted them (I thought that was a bit weird - how were they to know whether they had the parts or not?) DH took the van up, and told them where I wanted the anchors (I chose 2nd & 3rd row drivers' side, and third row centre. We already had one 2nd row centre.) The "Service Advisor" swore up and down that it was impossible to put an anchor in the 3rd row centre position because that's where the gas tank is. (The service bulletin clearly indicates a part number for an anchor at that position. :thumbsup "I tell car seat technicians where to put seats," he said. My initial instinct about the appointment was right, and after holding the van for a couple of hours they called us back and told us they didn't have the parts.
So DH took the van back Friday, and when he picked it up 4 hours later (after they forgot to call him about it being done,) lo and behold, the anchors were exactly where I asked them to be (including that impossible spot, the third row centre. )
So now, every rear seat, except the third row passenger, has an anchor. (and we have a car stereo that plays CDs, but doesn't have a clock. ) I'm a happy camper!
