Loose strap on BLVD

I noticed the other day that one strap on my BLVD is looser than the other. I checked to make sure that it was not twisted, or that the part that goes over my son's hips was not hung up on something...Is this something that happens a lot? I couldn't find any other threads regarding the BLVD with this problem. Is there something I can do to adjust it to be even? It's not a major difference, but when it is tight enough that I can't pinch the tight strap, i CAN pinch the looser strap. suggestions? thanks!
