I heard Graco is working on a new seat. Hoping to have it out in the spring. It's a HWH convertible. Does anyone know anything about it?

A woman that I work with. IMO, she's a very reliable source. I just wanted to see if anyone else knew. But, wouldn't it have been at the ABC show if they wanted to release it in the spring? I don't know much about carseat shows, but that seemed to be where all the other new seats were :)

Not necessarily. I don't believe that Graco had the Nautilus at ABC last year. In fact, I don't think anyone knew anything about it until someone here (can't remember who) revealed that she had been testing the seat for a couple of weeks.

I hope they're working on a HWH convertible, but it would really surprise me. Especially since they've indicated that they're doing away with the "Safe Seat" designation but keeping the seats - including the SS2 - under different names.

I think it was a post here from last spring.

I heard about the Nautilus last year at the Safe Kids conference. I didn't know about this board yet, or I would have told all of you. I am going again in a few weeks and their is a car seat manufacturer update, plus they all have exhibits. If I hear anything I will let you know.

What is the safekids confrence? Is it for anyone SK certified, or only certain people?

My source is a CPST-I (is there anything higher then a CPST-I?)and has been doing carseat safety for 25 years. I know she goes to alot of confrences. Maybe she knows something that will be announced at the SK confrence? She didn't sound like she wanted to give much info, so I didn't press for more.
