RFng in the backseat of a truck?

We *may* be getting a new vehicle very soon. I've always loved the Nissan Frontier trucks with the 4 doors. DS2 has about 5 more pounds to go rfng and I'm hoping that means until at least next summer.

Is it safe to rf in the backseat of a truck? I know with them being close to the back glass, that it may be a concern???

TIA

I posted a similar question two weeks ago....except mine was RFing in the front seat of a truck with no back seat. Same theory...there was glass directly behind the seat

I was told my numerous people not to be concerned. I had a seat that RF tethered, so they told me to do that, but even if I couldn't the consensus seemed to be that it was ok

My DD RF's in several different carseats (some tether RF and some don't) in my 06 Dodge Ram Quad cab. I have no concerns with the back glass. I feel she will not cocoon enough to hit the back glass.

My dad has a 2006? Frontier 4dr truck. It works great for RF seats (I'm sure FF too, I just have not needed that yet), very easy LATCH or seatbelt.

We just sold our 2000 Frontier crew cab. I found with the seatbelt for that particular year, i had to twist the buckle stalks to get a tight install no matter what seats I used...except the MA. We had both FF and RF seats, all seatbelt installs (no LATCH).
