Parkway Question

My Parkway's headrest doesn't seem to want to stay up all by itself sometimes. What I mean is it doesn't want to lock into position. Is that normal?

That happened to me once. I just held it right at the height adjustment I wanted, and pulled up on the adjustor handle. It made a click, and stayed. Haven't had a problem since.

This happened to my old Parkway (that we sold), but only if the vehicle seat or headrest caused the PW's headrest adjustment mechanism to sit at an angle, instead of perfectly straight. If the vehicle seat or headrest pushed the PW's headrest/giraffe neck portion forward at all, it would cause the locking mechanism to unlock and allow the headrest to fall down. Once I removed vehicle headrests or adjusted how the PW was sitting on the vehicle seat, it locked without a problem. I have heard of others having more serious issues, though, where it wouldn't lock at all, no matter what. In those cases, I believe Britax replaced the PW with a Monarch, but I'm not sure if that's still how they're handling it. I'd call and ask.

Thanks, I think I'll call and ask them tomorrow because I didn't have a headrest behind the seat today. I was playing musical carseats today and the parkway ended up in the spot where a MA usually goes.
