Hi,
I travel on a vanpool and of course the 15 passenger van has no head support in the benchseats. I am looking at getting a High Back OBUSforme like this:
Do you think that having this behind me would affect the way the seatbelts function? I have tried one and seems to work great but I am worried that by bringing me forward away from the seat crease, it is going to make the lap belt too slack if we are in a crash and it flies out from behind me. Obviously it is not held in place like a booster seat would be.
It has straps on the back that could theoretically be attached over the back of the seat, but our seating positions change every trip and the other passengers would probably get very annoyed if I was to fiddle with it every time. (I think they are already annoyed by the fact that it is floating around the van until I get on and they have to move it out of their way, etc.)
ETA the one I tried out didn't have the lumbar support, and I wouldn't be using that.
