TrueFit recline question

So we just got the TF today and I can't wait to install it tomorrow but I have a question.
We'll be installing it rf, do I have to have the recline bar in the recline position? Our dd is almost two so she doesn't need to be reclined. I read the manual and it looks to me like it does have to be, I just want to double check because I'm guessing she'd be more comfy with it the other way (though dh did say it may make a dif on the angled seat).

TIA,
Morgan.

Yes, that recline bar has to be in the position for rf installation. However, you can use noodles to have it angled anywhere between 35 (more upright) to 45 degree taking from the vertical line. You might find that you might need it to be a tad more recline (no more than 45 degree anyway) because the harness adjustor might be too far down the front and becomes inaccessible when it's more upright.

Angled seats definitely make a difference when installing, I had to use pool noodles to get a even a 35 degree recline in my car.
