Question RF convertible for Subaru Outback

Help. The rear seats in my Subaru Outback do not have a lot of room between them and the back of the front seats. I need a small RF convertible that does not cause me to have to move my seats forward. Is the Britax Roundabout my best option, or can anyone recommend anything that has a little less depth or height (takes less space) and allows the front seats to recline more? IMPORTANT - We have twins, so there will be two seats in the outboard positions (middle is not an option). Thanks!

I have found that the Evenflo Triumph Advance takes up less space rear facing front to back over the other seats that I own in any car. It is a case of looks being deceiving as the seat itself is large but just the way it installs, it takes up so much less room.
I can usually have the front passenger seat pushed all the way back and still there is room between the seatback and the EFTA.

It is not a narrow seat though and a third youth/adult passenger would be hard to fit.

I have a TrueFit in my 97' outback, we have it installed without the headrest right now, but even with it on, installed at 35 degrees there is enough room for the front seats.

We used two Cosco Alpha Omega Elites RF outboard position... Britax models were too bulky. We have a 99 Subaru Outback.

well, since those worked, you could go with two safety 1st Avenues... about 80 bucks apiece and only as bit as an AOE without the base.

But I'd say take the car to BRU and have them let you try the seats out in your car... the Evenflo triumph advance would be a good bet.

Oh, and if you buy it there... get the twin discount (when you buy double of an item)
