2003 Dodge Caravan Tether anchor

I need to get two tether anchors installed in my back bench seat. There is already a tether in the middle.

The dealership that I called did not have a clue, then said he thinks he knows and the part is going to be $89. He said he's never seen the kit before

Is there anyway to get the part # I'm looking for and tell them?

OR

Can I install an EZ on tether for regular carseats or just the EZ on products?

Thanks!

Chrysler won't retrofit your van with more tether anchors because it already has factory equipped top tether anchors per the LATCH manual's Chrysler section (typical of most cars with factory equipped anchors, FWIW). :( I have no idea if EZ On anchors could be added or not. You're likely to get into a huge run around with the vehicle manufacturer and EZ On about it based on the experience of another member with a Ford minivan who posted the other day about wanting to add additional anchors beyond the factory equipped anchors. Neither Ford nor EZ On would give her an okay to add EZ On anchors in in her vehicle. EZ referred her to Ford, and Ford basically said it couldn't be done. :(

I am also interested in this....

We have three kids (5, 3, 5 months) and another one on the way. All three are in 5 point harnesses as will the baby be as well (obviously). With two rear facing, I have one extra tether bolt, however I would like to have the 5 & 3 year old in the back bench and the two babies in the captains chairs.

Using only the factory equipped tethers/anchors...this is not possible as the rear bench one is located almost in the middle. I would like to have two installed on either side of the van.

This sounds easy but Dodge is giving me the run around saying that it CAN'T be done. Does anyone have any information on this?

Thanks in advance
