OK - talked to my guy. It won't be available until 2009 sometime. They are still testing to the Canadian standards.

Do you know if they are testing it to 35 lbs rf, or are they leaving it at 30?

I recently e-mailed the new Canadian SK office on this and got this response:

The Radian XT will be available at retailers nation-wide in February 2009 in all four colours (Hampton, Malibu, Nassau, Rio). The height and weight restrictions will exactly the same as the Radian Premier.

Great that all the patterns will be available here, but *not* good news if the weight/height limits are truly the same as the Cdn Radian Premier (RF-30lb/32" & FF-65lb/51"). I'm going to ask him for further clarification on that point.

Does the XT have higher top slots? How does it compare to the current RN, the Frontier and the Nautilus???

Being totally self-centered, I'm only concerned with top slot height....

Yes, please if you can, email again and ask for clarification.

I'd really like to get an XT, but only will if it rf's to 35lbs.

Otherwise it might come down to a TrueFit.

my son would LOVE that red cover, when he picked out the cover he was getting for his new radian, he was really dissapointed they did not carry red.

can one possibly buy just the covers here in Canada?

The only cover they have in the CDN office if the Granite cover. YOu would have to order from the US

The new office won't be carrying the covers until well into the new year was the response i got.
