now or wait?

need some help here to decide buying seats, i need to buy a frontier and a truefit, however i can still use our old seats and then we are going abroad for few months,should i wait and buy when i come back or should i buy now,coz my1 year old would be big for his carseat when we come back and from airport to home we need to use the old seat.. but i saw new seat covers for trufit on the ABC show pics that i would like to wait for (any idea when those covers will be available) and frontier issues might get resolved by then... what should i do

Wait and maybe have a friend with suitable seats pick you up or lend you their seat for the trip home to the airport? What seats are you using abroad?

It would be a shame, though, to buy seats and have their life tick away while you aren't using them if you can figure out a way that you can wait and get something later when your options might be more varied (covers, Frontier issues, etc).
