With the Britax sale coming up I am seriously debating about whether or not I need to bite the bullet and get a Frontier. While I like the price of the GN much, much better, DD doesn't care for it as a seat and is comfy in the Frontier. I tried measuring her torso by having her sit on the floor and mark her shoulders on the wall. Amazing how she can grow and shrink an inch and a half in 5 minutes.
In her MA, she has about 1/4-1/2 inch of room before she's even with the top straps. Still plenty of room before her ears pass the shell. She has her father's build--long torso. I would prefer to hold off as long as possible in hopes that some of the issues on the Frontier either get resolved or some other cool new seat comes out. If I wait and do end up with a Frontier, I'm hoping I can at least get one the next time they are on sale in February. (right?) So do you think we have enough room to wait? What sort of great new seats are slated to hit the market? Worht waiting? She's always been tall so I don't think her growth rate is going to slack off. I'm just half-heartedly hoping she'll start growing more in the legs!
Let's just say finding shirts that don't show off her belly button is a challenge. Can I just put her in a jar to stop her from growing or strap a brick on her head to slow her down?
