Hi everyone,

I am so confused...my daughter just turned 6 and will soon be outgrowing her Britax Marathon, which I absolutely *love*. At first I was debating between the Frontier and the Nautilus. After hearing the issues with the Frontier (harness and the splitter plate, harness fraying, twisting), and reading about how others who love Britax also love the Nautilus, I was convinced and went to buy one last weekend at BRU.

However, when I took my daughter to BRU to try the Nautilus, she said that the seatbelt was digging into her tummy...and it was!!!! It seems like the combination of the long buckle stalk and the angle of the belt made it so that the edge of the belt near the buckle was pushing into her stomach. I don't recall hearing others with that problem? I can't tell you how bummed I was. I then tried the Nautilus as a booster, but the seatbelt was digging into her neck (the head rest adjustments have wide increments).

I then tried the Graco Turbobooster...that fit her well as a booster. From reading the forums, it seems like I would like the Compass b510 better than the Turbobooster. But neither the turbobooster nor the compass have tether for when the seat is not occupied. Is that a big issue? Do people who have the Compass b510 still like theirs even w/o the tether? BRU didn't have the Compass, so I haven't tried it yet... ARRRG!!! Please help!!!

We have 2 GNs for our extra seats for our 3 and 5 year olds - they hate them. The combination of the way the buckle sits and the fabric of the cover do it for them. So we will keep using them for out back-up seats, but not our everyday seats.

My 5 year old has a regent for her regular seat and loves it, would that be an option?
