I know I shouldn't have

Because it'll come back to bite me in the end. I'm a cashier, tonight a couple came in with their 4 month old in a carrier. They had really adorable strap covers, which meant that the chest clip was way down at his belly.

I asked if she minded if I told her something about her carseat, and she said she didn't. So I told her that the chest clip couldn't do its job right if it was way down there, and that if they were in an accident, he could possibly slip out. And that you shouldn't use those strap covers.

Her response was "we had no idea"(she wasn't p.o.'d with me either)

Anyway, Im not making a habit of it, I just wanted to share.

hehe I'm afraid that once I first offer advice to a stranger...it's all over. I will no longer be able to keep my mouth shut. My problem..I'm quite blunt LOL I need to work on doing this tactfully and non-confrontationally

Lol, I think I did it because it was really late (2 minutes 'til closing), so I was half loopy anyway. But thankfully, I perked up and was wide awake for the drive home.

I also badger my SIL about my nephew being in a booster (he's 3). She ignores me, but I think accepts that this is one of my quirks. lol (Thankfully, she doesn't badger me about my parenting, lol).
