I just wanted to say thanks. - Scenera

I was in the market for a convertible seat for my 6 month old. She was becoming very uncomfortable in her Snug Ride. I bought a Graco ComfortSport because I've always used Graco and felt comfortable with them. After an hour and a half of tugging and getting bruises on my fingers, I returned the stupid thing. It was impossible to install properly rear facing in my car.

Anyhow, after coming here and doing some reading, I came across recommendations for the Cosco Scenera. I looked it up right away (along with others) and read nearly 40, absolutely RAVE, reviews.

I went to the store and looked at it. I let the 'cheap' appearance talk me out of it and bought the Triumph. I hated it too!!! It was a horrible fit and for $130 I expected much more. So after we got home (long story) he told me to go ahead an exhange it; he didn't like it either, lol!

We now have the 'wallet friendly' Scenera and couldn't be happier. My daughter doesn't scream in it, it fits! and I can still see out my rear view and see her in her mirror :)

Okay, so this is a long way to say thank you, but really, I would recommend this seat to anyone. I can't believe I didn't buy it first. We'll be buying another as a spare :)

Thank You!!!

 I love the Scenera, too. Easy (for me) to install, easy to use, lightweight, high rear-facing weight limit of 35 pounds, puzzles well next to other carseats. I do wish it had some EPS/EPP foam (the Safety 1st Uptown or Avenue are good budget choices if you want the foam and higher top slots).

One thing to check out is if yours has the spike issue. A search here for "Scenera spikes" should bring up the discussions. :)

If it's new it shouldn't have spikes. All the new pattern seats at my target and walmart are spikeless. My DOM 5/08 was also spikeless (Target blue)

I used a Scenera for my son, and I really liked it. I think a lot of people let the price tag deter them, when its really a nice seat :)
