Madison Regent cover very faded!

I had put our Regent in dh's car (200 Mazda Protege) for a couple months, as dd#2 decided she wanted to use the Nauti in my van. He drives it back and forth to work every weekday and it stays parked outside all day. Well, after I took it out and brought it in the house recently, I noticed that the top of the cover is pretty faded. This does not make me happy! I have had other Britax seats/covers in this car for the last 7 years and none have faded this much! Especially since it was only in there for a couple months. The nice dark pink of the fabric is now light and silvery looking at the top of the seat. Has anyone else had this problem? I want to know if this is typical for this cover or if there is something about ours that let it fade out this much.
TIA for any feedback.

I haven't had a problem with faded covers, but if I were you, I'd call Britax. They replaced a cover for me on a seat that was under warranty (for a different reason, though).

My Madison isn't faded any, but it is in a car with tinted windows and is parked in shaded areas.

My Cool Blues roundabout cover faded pretty badly though when it was in my car. I don't recall if I had the windows tinted at that time though.

I'm in N Texas - think HOT AND SUNNY!
I've got a Madison Regent in my car, usually outside and I don't think I've had any issues with fading. I'm at work so will double check at lunch.

Darn it, wouldn't you know I bought this seat a year ago this August! If I do end up calling, it is not under warranty anymore. I just think its odd that it faded so quickly while in the car. No problem when it was in my van, because all the back windows are tinted. You would think the denim Wizards would fade worse than this Madison. I think I will wait and see what the consensus is on others' covers before I call though.

Thanks for the replies all! Keep 'em coming.
