3 across in a Ford Escape

Has anyone had a successful 3 across in a ford escape? I've got marathon and frontier and want to see what else will fit, any 5pt harness seat will work fine.

I have done many three across in my Escape. I got two baseless Snugrides outboard and rf Marathon center. I got two Marathons and a Radian three across in various combos of rf and ff. Oh, and a Marathon rf, Radian ff and Chicco Keyfit. I have also done three across with various old seats, like a Alpha Omega, Evenflo Discovery and two different Century seats.

I didn't TRY my Radian in that open spot, but the FR and a MA/RA fit great next to each other http://picasaweb.google.com/joolstag/Frontier#5208143223309269346 Click on my name and my profile pic also has the Parkway and Starriser Comfy next to each other with a Roundabout on the other side.(or an infant seat, I got all of them there). In sum, it should not be hard to get three across

So you guys think I should put the marathon and frontier side by side? I have my marathon rear facing. Also in my car manual it says to take the head rests off when installing car seats so does that mean I should take them all off even the one behind the frontier?? I'm confused!

Yes they do need to come off (mainly FF) since they interfere with the tether since they attach to the ceiling in the back. Make sure to check if your manual also requires that you turn the tether clip to face up when securing not down like normal. I think it is model specific on the last part. My manual even has a picture on how to do it.
