Got Helen from Britax Customer Service - should I call back

Called this morning and got Helen..Now am wondering if I should call back and get someone else? Problem - I have a Mossy Oak Marathon and there is a bare spot on the cover - worn down to the threads - in a very odd place right below the harness buckle...and the strap is twisted and I tried re-threading and it doesn't work....It is still under warranty - she told me to take photos and a number so they can call me back...Then I got on here and saw I should avoid dealing with her! HELP What do I do????

Sounds to me like you've had a perfectly acceptable interaction with her so far. I wouldn't call back unless you don't hear from Britax within whatever timeframe Helen specified. If you call back and talk to someone else at this point, I think it may just confuse things.

I had a good interaction with Helen and she asked for photos as well. That seems to be the norm...

What was the outcome for you?

Helen was great today! I called this morning (being a teacher I have wierd hours) so I had a break and took a chance...She is sending me a brand new mossy oak cover - which I'm going to sell and buy a crocodile cover and new harness straps! She was very pleasant and fine to deal with! So I'm giving props to Helen!:thumbsup:

I am glad to hear that you had a good interaction with her.:) I got her today also and am praying that all goes well with my MA problem as well.;)

Just wanted to check though, did she say that you are getting a camoflauge or the actual Mossy Oak??? They stopped making the Mossy Oak a while back and don't sell it no more, but they sometimes say Camoflauge when it really is Cowmooflauge. Not trying to get you worried.:eek:

I know you would love it if i was getting Cowmooflage- cuz I would so sell it to you! But alas - the shipping notification said Mossy Oak cover - so I was kinda suprised - was really hoping they would be out of it so I could get Crocodile(which is what my sister wants) -- oh well, will just list on ebay and she has already ordered Crocodile...Told my sister I wish I had a Marathon just because cover choices are so much better than the Regent....WHY can't they come out with a great Regent cover????

maybe they've had a string of people fibbing to get free stuff?

It all sounds pretty norm to me... they just want proof. (think of what those covers sell for... anyone could say they have that spot).

Obviously, if you don't hear back, then I'd call again.
