Child not in car seat!

I was leaving a parking spot yesterday after food shopping at Wegman's. When I see this car trying to park in my spot before I even get out of it all the way. When I notice a female passenger in the back seat on the driver side. She was holding what looked to me to be a 18 mts. old child in her lap. I than noticed she had a Baby On Board sign in the back window. Maybe it should read Be very careful baby on board and not in car seat. I was so crazy about it. My eight year old wanted to know why I was so angry. He said I should call the police. But she would have been out of the vechicle by than. I couldn't believe what I saw. I wanted to turn around and say something but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I'm thinking she likely left another store and thought it would be okay to not strap her in since she was in the same parking lot. Who knows. I had to share. I was fumming mad.

I saw a mom and her kid jump in the car and drive off after my ds's gymnastics class yesterday. Little boy was standing right behind the center console. UGH. Makes me crazy!

i know the feeling! i saw SIX vehicles on monday with babies not buckled up and NO carseat even in the cars!!!!!!!! i had to stop looking and go to sleep. we were traveling to come home from the hurricane and there were many many cars on the road. wrecks everywhere! these people were fleeing from the hurricane to keep safe but fail to keep there kids safe on the roads. i don't understand that! most of the cars that i saw had way to many people in the vehicles. one of them was carrying 8 people in a toyota camery. 3 adults and 5 children all under the age of @ 6. another one that really stuck in my mind was 3 adults was 2 babies. again absoutely no carseats! the little girl was maybe 15 months old, just barley walking and a new born. i don't think the baby was even 2 weeks old. we stopped at a rest area and as i was walking back to my truck, they were getting back in to there car(a civic). all the doors on the car were wide open and i could see there were no carseats. only the mom holding the newborn sitting on the back seat feeding the baby with a tiny little bottle(like the ones you get from the hospital). it just made me sooo sick!

I know how you feel..it makes me honestly angry when I see that. I always want to say something but you never know what someone could do to you.
